The Investigations & Due Diligence Division at Bradburys Global Risk Group is currently recruiting OSINT researchers in Africa. As an OSINT researcher, you will be part of a research team responsible to the Investigation Lead, utilising various open sources and existing internal data to support wider investigations and specific industry challenges as instructed by clients.


Following an induction, on-boarding and training schedule, you will be required to:

  • Work as part of a team as well as managing your own workload
  • Monitor and update risk matrices to categorise identified risks based on their likelihood and potential impact
  • Prioritise risks based on their significance to the clients goals and objectives
  • Utilise quantitative and qualitative methods to assess the severity and probability of identified risk
  • Utilise data analytics and research tools to detect anomalies that may indicate potential threats
  • Maintain daily security events/activity logs
  • Submit reports and updates to the IL
  • Demonstrate systematic research processes
  • Ability to conduct versatile tasks based on specific requirements as instructed by the IL
  • Produce detailed written reports that convey critical information to the IL

Essential requirements:

  • A five-year checkable work history
  • Previous experience in open source research
  • Proof of right to work
  • An excellent command of English communication skills (written, oral, email)
  • Self discipline
  • Ability to work alone within a lone working environment
  • Ability to take instructions in a professional, keen and responsive manner
  • Ability to adapt at all times
  • Excellent attention to detail and a natural investigative mindset
  • Excellent time-keeping/time management

Core hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 09.00 – 17.00
