In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where Bradburys Global Risk Group is a controller of the personal data in relation to the provision of services, we do not provide fair processing notices to individuals as this would be detrimental to the objective of such services.

Individuals whose data is processed during the provision of client services have the same rights as all other data subjects.

Marketing

We strive to provide you with choices regarding certain personal data uses, particularly around marketing and advertising.

We may use your Identity, Contact, Technical, Usage and Profile Data to form a view on what we think you may want or need, or what may be of interest to you. This is how we decide which products, services and offers may be relevant for you.

You will receive marketing communications from us if you have requested information from us or you have purchased goods or services from us, and, in each case, you have not opted out of receiving that marketing.

This website is not intended for use by minors under the age of sixteen (16) years.  Bradburys Global Risk Group does not knowingly collect, disclose, or sell the personal data of minors under 16 years of age. If you are under 16 years old, please do not provide any personal data even if prompted to do so. If you believe that you have inadvertently provided personal data, please ask your parent(s) or legal guardian(s) to notify us and we will delete your personal data.

During the course of provision of services, information we hold about you may be transferred to other countries which may include transferring your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

When we, or our permitted third parties, transfer your personal data outside of the EEA, we will impose contractual obligations upon the recipients of that data to protect your personal data to the standard required in the EEA. We or they may also require the recipient to subscribe to international frameworks intended to enable secure data sharing.

We adopt a number of robust and appropriate security measures to protect the confidentiality and security of information we obtain during the course of business activities including education and training to relevant staff to ensure they are aware of our privacy obligations when handling personal data; administrative and technical controls to restrict access to personal data to a ‘need to know’ basis and technological security measures, including fire walls, encryption and anti-virus software.

Access to such information is limited, and policies and procedures are in place that are designed to safeguard the information from loss, misuse and improper disclosure. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

The transmission of data over the internet (including when sent via e-mail) is never completely secure. So although we use appropriate measures to protect personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to us or by us.

Cyber Essentials Plus Accreditation

Bradburys Global Risk Group has attained ‘Cyber Essentials PLUS’ accreditation under the UK government initiative. To achieve this enhanced level of certification, a rigorous assessment of our information security controls is undertaken by an independent auditor from the IASME Consortium which involves the testing of key cyber and including boundary firewalls; internet gateways; secure configuration; access control; malware protection and patch management in addition to an external and internal vulnerability scan and a range of simulated cyber-attacks.

Our policy is to retain personal data only for as long as necessary, relevant and proportionate for the purposes for which we process personal data to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Retention periods vary in different jurisdictions and are set in accordance with local regulatory and professional retention requirements.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

• The right to request that we correct any personal data if it is found to be inaccurate or out of date

• The right to object to our processing of personal data, where applicable e.g. where processing is based on our legitimate interests (or in performance of a task in the public interest/exercise of official authority)
• Direct marketing or processing for the purposes of scientific/historical research and statistics)

What we may need from you

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.

Time limit to respond

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

We may occasionally modify, amend or update this privacy notice to reflect changes in our practices and services. When any adjustments are made to this privacy statement, we will amend the revision date at the top of this page. The modified or amended privacy statement will apply from that date. We encourage you to review this statement periodically to remain informed about how we are protecting your information.

If we make any material changes in the way we collect, use, and share personal data, we will notify you by prominently posting notice of the changes on the website. We recommend that you check this page from time to time to inform yourself of any changes in this privacy notice.
