UK government 'Cyber Essentials PLUS' Compliance Accreditation

Providing a secure operating environment for our customers, clients, personnel and supply chain is at the heart of everything we do and we are proud to further demonstrate this by attaining ‘Cyber Essentials’ and ‘Cyber Essentials Plus’ accreditation under the UK government initiative supported by the NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre).

To achieve this level of certification, a rigorous assessment of our information security controls was undertaken by an independent CREST approved organisation which involved the testing of key security measures including boundary firewalls; routers; internet gateways; secure configuration; access control; malware protection and patch management in addition to external and internal vulnerability scans and a range of simulated cyber-attacks.

Commenting on the achievement, Andrew Blount, Operations Manager at Bradburys, said: “Achieving accreditation with the UK government’s ‘Cyber Essentials PLUS’ initiative demonstrates the company’s level of commitment in ensuring the right processes and policies are in place across our systems and personnel. Cyber Essentials recognition is often a minimum requirement for certain government contracts, and our clients can be further reassured that the data we hold is safeguarded in the most robust and secure ways conceivable through our IT Governance framework in addition to bolstering our GDPR responsibilities”.
