Approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the Core Criteria was adopted by SSIP when the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) came into force and is committed to ensuring reduction in health and safety assessment costs and bureaucracy within the supply chain by making cross-recognition between member schemes as effective as possible.
